Bio:
Although not a Colorado native, I have spent the majority of my adult life living in the Denver-Boulder metro area. I received my bachelors' degree in Psychology and later went on to culinary school. Before I began my real estate career in 2001, I did many things, including being a counselor at a residential treatment center for adolescents, a job coach for disabled people, and chef/owner of my own catering business in Boulder. Although I was interested in real estate, I resisted getting my license for some time because the image I had of what a realtor was did not match who I was as a person. I thought of Realtors as pushy sales people, who only cared about their commission checks. When I finally decided to take the leap into real estate, I knew that the only way it would work for me was to hold true to my core values and beliefs which are to always do the right thing, to be kind and respectful to my fellow human being, and to have my feet firmly planted on the ground at all times. I'm so glad that I took that leap, because I absolutely love what I do. I live in Park Hill, a historic neighborhood in northeast Denver with my Partner, my 7 yr old daughter, our 2 dogs and 1 cat. I am an advocate for the GLBTQ community, and with my partner I organize a Meetup group in Denver for two mom families like ours.
